Battle of the Bands

Me my friend Eden and my friend Sarah went to the battle of the bands at Alta! It was so fun! Sarah's brother was the opening act and he was really good! There was this one band that I thought was awesome! I think they were called Between the avenue? But im not sure. It was just these two boys each on the guitar and each singing. They were my favorite! There were alot of crappy ones to, like this one band that was these white guys trying to rap! They were horrible! But get this, THEY WON! I was dissapointed. But whatever, I had a great time.

Pet peeves...

Do you have a pet peeve? I sure do! Some of mine are

1. Copying!!! AHHHH I hate it when people copy me! I know its supposed to be a "complement" but I like being original! DO NOT COPY ME. I wont like you very much if you do (:

2. Overexcited moms. At volly-ball, there is this mom that really gets me aggravated... she comes to all the practices and while were just practicing hitting the ball, she joins in! (shes not very good.....) and in our practice games she yells at us! she goes "Ohhh that was weak!!" or "You could have got that!" or "Oh my girls...!" I mean we have all just started! she doesnt need to yell!

3. When people touch my stuff. I hate it at school when someone just grabs my bag and starts looking through it! I hate it! Or when people take my phone and look at my picture! I mean if you ask I will let you but dont just take it!

9/11/01

Today is September 11th. Today is the day of the crashing of the twin towers. I no I was in only like what, 1st grade? I still remember learning about it at school. I was terrified. I still cant believe that happend. I never really was worried about crashings. I mean you all see it in movies with all the special effects, but this was real. I mean it really makes me think. So many innocent people had to die. How many kids were in there and had to die?? Family, friends. People were jumping out the building. I cant even imangine how hard it would be to hear that someone you loved so much was killed by a terrorist. I would be scared for my life. I know this day doesnt have alot of impact on me, and more people were affected by this day more than me. But I am watching videos of the crashing right now. I am even getting a little emotional. I saw this video and I really liked it, this one hit me, I dont know why this one, but this one was the one that made me tear up. I never got to see the twin towers in pearson, but I bet they were very beautiful, I wish I couldve saw them. It makes me pretty sad. Sorry this is a sad post haha, but I do worry about these things too! I dont only worry about boys! Haha, (though I do worry about boys too) I am just scared. My stomach is in knots right now. Well thats all I have to say. Bye!

Okay, I went and saw Batman yesterday... I LOVED IT!!!!! It was soooooooooo brilliant!!!!! The Joker was PERFECT for his part!!!!!AHHHHHHHH it is currently my FAVORITE movie. I LOOOOOVED IT!!!!!!! I know fathers day is on sunday, but my dad is leaving on a trip, so I'm going to mention how much i appreciate him before he goes. I wrote this poem for you dad;

Happy Mommys Day

Happy Mothers day everyone! [= I Couldn't find a picture of my mom but when I do I'll put it on! My mom is such a wonderful person I am SO blessed to have such a wonderful mom. I could go on and on about how wonderful my mom is but I'm going to limit myself to the top 10.


1.My mom always listens to me. She always can tell when I'm down and always knows how to put me back up.

2.She is SOOOOOO pretty! Whenever my friends see her they always tell me they think she's really pretty or think she looks really young!

3. She believes in all her kids! She knows we'll succeeds and supports us all the way. I know she's there for me.

4. She can always make me smile!! She is really funny, I love to her her sing around the house while she's cleaning, so what if she isn't the best singer in the world, she doesn't care!!

5. She just wants you to be happy. You can tell she loves each and every one of us and she would do anything for us so were happy and safe.

6.She doesn't have "favorites" she loves us all the same and shows it each and every day.

7.She is probably the strongest woman in the WORLD! I don't know one person who can sit there quietly while watching someone each a giant twinkee. Sure she'll want some, but she'll be strong and resist!!

8. She's really compassionate and lovable. She has a thing for dogs and a thing for us.

9. She has great style! She has the cutest accsessories,her hair is always done in the cutest ways, but even when shes in sweats and a ponytail she still looks just amazing.

10. She is so insparational, she might not know it but whenever she tells me I look pretty I go around school feeling great, even on a bad day. She has taught me to love everyone even when there on my nerves, she tells me to give everyone a chance and just to love everyone and don't hate anyone.
